The Legend
It was said that long ago, the planet was made of fire and molten lava, that winds swept across barren plains, and that waters flowed in inland seas, but there was no life. Nararu, of Water, and Spyra, of Fire, set about making the land suitable for habitation by animals and people. Windmira, of Wind, poured her love and patience into the soil to help bring about plant life and vegetation. Spyra killed off the savage Things that did manage to live in this environment, and Nararu cooled down the lava and fires with Water. Spyra brought up molten earth and Windmira fashioned it into human shapes. Nararu finished the process by cooling down the molten earth and gently carving the faces. Together, the three es brought life to these first humans and put them on the land they had prepared. But they forgot to set down the Law, and so the people eventually killed one another off. This did not deter the es and they tried again after wiping the lands clean.
They set down the strict laws of the land, which they affectionately called 'Namuoriansirus'. The people of this land were called 'Namuorians'. In the es' native language, 'Namuoriansirus' meant 'Prosperous and healthy land', and 'Naumorians' meant 'Prosperous and healthy people'. The people set up three shrines to the es, in three main cities: Spyrania, [insert name here], and [insert name here]. The Law is written on a Tablet hidden deep within the Caves of Truth. Most people call the caves of truth, 'Ashimaten', or 'cursed place', because only those pure of heart, body, and mind may enter, or vishka, 'pure ones' or most often translated as 'virgin'. The term for those who weren't pure of heart is 'Trhksa', or 'filthy one'.
